Developmental Autism Specialist
Also known as Developmental Client Coach

Location: Freehold, New Jersey

Job Type: Part-time (Bachelors Required)

Hourly: $20 - $26 dollars/hour (based on requirements/qualifications)

We’re looking for: A paraprofessional, student, or individual who is passionate about helping children and/or young adults with developmental differences

  • Bachelor's degree minimum preferably in fields related to Psychology, Education, Child Development, etc.
  • At least one year of experience working one-on-one with children and/or adolescents
  • A high level of dedication and can commit to 8-10 hours per week for at least 6 months
  • The desire to make a difference in the lives of the people you serve and have fun doing it!

What you will do as a Developmental Autism Specialist:

  • Work one-on-one with children and/or young adults with autism by providing developmental therapy (We will teach you!)
  • Commute to and from clients’ homes (up to 20 miles)
  • Attend clinical lectures
  • Attend team meetings (Duration: ongoing throughout employment)
  • Play and have fun!

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children for at least one year
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 months to a client schedule
  • Reliable transportation/valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., get up and down from the floor easily, and actively play with children
  • Bilingual (not required but applicable)
