What is the opportunity?

Reporting to the Engineering Head, Digital Experience in US Cash Management, the person in this role will manage development and partner with other managers and business units to create state of the art technical solutions that result in consumer quality Onboarding solutions for our corporate clients. You will require a thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. You will focus all of their daily attention on ensuring that all aspects of the design, development and implementation are on track and meet the highest quality so that clients will have a consistently excellent experience.

You are not afraid of challenging the team on technical details and be able to think functionally.

What will you do?

  • Hands-on Lead with experience in designing and developing Java/J2EE applications.
  • Highly skilled and knowledgeable lead who will work to transform our Banking Technology
  • Build the state of the art, highly scalable banking platform as a lead and/or contributor across the team
  • Develop as a contributor or lead strategic analytics platform
  • Develop as a contributor or development lead across various components
  • Build digital assets to serve our internal and external clients

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

  • A passionate, hands-on professional with 10+ years of experience in designing and developing Java web based applications.
  • Domain knowledge on Cash management covering Digital account opening and product onboarding enabling clients to access various products, services, and capabilities
  • Experience in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Spring/Spring Boot, JavaScript, NodeJS, JUnit and Angular framework
  • Experience with Springboot Microservices, Apigee.
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Experience on Messaging layer like Kafka, IBM MQ, JMS , TIBCO EMS is desired
  • Knowledge of databases – Postgres or MongoDB etc.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and pro-active with proven ability to work accurately and under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills - Ability to summarize and explain clearly large and complex information to a wide range of audiences (senior managers, audit, controller, finance, model developers, regulators and controls)

Nice-to-have

  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in Cash Management / transaction banking domain
  • Knowledge AWS or Azure services

The good faith expected salary for the above position is $110K-190K depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
