Blake Austin College, a vocational school located in Vacaville, is currently recruiting to fill an IMMEDIATE part-time temporary position for a day instructor:

Dental Assisting Instructor(s)

BAC is seeking candidates who can bring their strengths and skills to guide our students and assist them as they transition into their new careers. The ideal person will possess a love of dentistry and the desire to see their students succeed with confidence, respect, and dignity. Prior teaching experience is preferred, but not required. BAC offers a positive work environment that gives you the tools needed for your success as well as the success of your students. There may be future opportunties for full-time position.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid, Active, Current RDA License & CPR
• A minimum of three years of RDA practical experience in the last five years with current knowledge of registered dental assisting duties

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Leadership/monitoring/training within a working healthcare office
• Documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
• Strength in both front and back-office procedures
• Willingness to participate and cooperate in a team environment
• Flexible to receive new ideas and adaptable to change
• Advocate for innovation and technology/automation
• Great computer skills

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
