Pediatric Dental Assistant with experience in all facets of pediatric dentistry is needed in our fast paced, leading edge pediatric dental practice. We are looking for someone who will be warm and welcoming to children of all ages. You must be a compassionate, positive person that will help create a happy experience for every child.

Responsibilities of a Pediatric Dental Assistant

• Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for dentists
• Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs
• Taking Digital X-rays
• Greeting patients as they arrive

Skills and Qualifications of a Pediatric Dental Assistant

• Must enjoy working with children and teens
• Customer service and communication skills to ensure patients feel comfortable during appointments
• OSHA compliance regulations
• Well organized and reliable
• Attention to detail
• Maintain a positive demeanor
• Certified Coronal Polishing (preferred)
