Work within a fast paced, specialized, and dynamic team collaborating with Marketing & Sales and Business Innovation Units & Finance in the Commercial Operations organization.
You are responsible for
- Manage demonstration equipment inventory in the United States for sales operation at the desired service levels, while maintaining the lowest inventory investment possible.
- Perform Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual inventory management processes; audits, reports, cycle-counts and may support forecasts. Develop tactical improvement initiatives to meet both short and long-term goals.
- Manage individual KPI’s, Continuous Improvement initiatives, metrics and trackers.
- Maintain and adhere to applicable quality system policies and procedures associated with inventory management.
- Actively participate in New Product Development planning and manage end-of-life to minimize scrap.
- Actively participate in Philips Lean culture to help drive efficiencies.
- Collaborate with Order Processing, Field Sales, Finance and other cross-functional business groups as required to ensure equipment scheduling, customer demo orders and buy-backs correctly process through SAP/Salesforce.
- Serve as liaison with the Commercial Operation, Sales and Finance organization to maintain strong positive relationships.
- Ensure effective and consistent administration of all company policies, procedures, programs and systems.
- Anticipates and manages workload effectively to meet commitments and all applicable established departmental goals.
- Provides support and information cross functionally within the Customer Fulfillment Center, as required/requested.
You are a part of
Our Customer Fulfillment team where you will work as a Demonstration Equipment Inventory Specialist. You will manage capacity and inventory utilization as well as identification of supply-demand gaps and developing solutions to address.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree and related internship experience in a Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics or other quantitative discipline
- Experience with Supply Chain Management (SCM) concepts – forecasting, planning, inventory, logistics, etc.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com and SAP (or other ERP systems)
- Proficient with data analytics/manipulation (e.g. MS Excel, Access).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated problem solving of complex issues.
- Prior use of Lean and/or Six Sigma analytical techniques a plus
- Experience in project management and ability to deliver initiatives
- Excellent judgement skills in escalating and tracking issues
- Strong ability to diagnose problems, apply effective solutions and determine follow-up actions with minimum direction
- Eager to take on new tasks/expanded responsibilities; develop and shares best practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including active listening skills
- Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, who possesses a flexible attitude and a willingness to change priorities, as the business needs demand
- Quick learner able to build a comprehensive knowledge of demonstration equipment and configurations
- Ability to work under minimal supervision on day-to-day activities, maintaining a high degree of accuracy and integrity
- Willingness to perform overtime work as required to meet business demands
