Description

• MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supervises employees and maintains quality of product produced, the flow of the products and in what form the product is processed

- Monitors labor cost and overtime

- Trains and provides leadership to employees

- Keeps maintenance informed of mechanical problems

- Coordinates with Sales, and other departments, as dictated by special orders to ensure a smooth product flow

- Manages Kronos Time and Attendance for hourly employees

- Supervises housekeeping in the department

- Responsible for monthly safety training of hourly employees

- Performs other job duties as directed by management

Prima ry Function :

*Provides leadership in the management of employees to product a quality product at within budget guidelines.

*Coordinates with other departments the product flow and provides direction on what form the product is to be processed.

Ma j or Res po nsibilities :

*Figures time cards for hourly employees.

*Supervises housekeeping in his department.

Ke y Workin g Relationshi p s :

*Reports to Debone Superintendent who provides general supervision.

*Works closely with Sales to coordinate daily production of boneless product..

*Maintains close contact with the cut-up department to keep them informed of their daily needs and also with Weldotron department to schedule orders that are to be run in weldotron.

*Works with Maintenance to schedule repairs.
