This position works in a warehouse setting, with limited outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including a computer and could occasionally use standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, rf scanner, and tape dispensers as well as computers. Based on business necessity team members may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.

The primary responsibility of the Distribution Center Operations Supervisor is to achieve the key organizational goals of the distribution center through the efficient use of staff and systems on a day-to-day operational basis. This includes interaction with the Camp Hill Operations team on issues, as well as providing operational technical expertise, and excellent customer service. The Supervisor will point out potential operating opportunities and have full responsibility for implementing and executing all operations programs, policies, and systems within their assigned function. This role is responsible for providing efficient and effective coordination of their work unit. This includes understanding their team and motivating them to achieve organizational and professional goals.

- Provide effective supervision of team members and assist them with ongoing development.
- Interpret and present information to team members such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions and procedure manuals. - Adapt to new working conditions and be able to work a flexible schedule including increased peak
season hours as needed. - Review and approve all team members time entries in timekeeping and production management
systems; making any corrections as needed within the designated time frames. - Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures as well as all applicable municipal, state and
federal laws regarding safety. - Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to learn and retain a comprehensive understanding of all operating systems and processes.
- Ability to read, write, operate computer, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as
required. - Communicates information to the manager, safety director or HR as needed.
- Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without accommodation.
- Required to stand (stationary position) during scheduled hours. Hours usually include weekends, evenings and holidays in conjunction with labor regulations.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods.
- May be required to move up to 40 lbs (range may vary based on work assignment) with or without assistance.
- Based on business necessity team members may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
- Associates Degree or higher in Logistics, Operations Management, Business Industrial Engineering, or
related field or equivalent years of work related experience. - Previous knowledge of automated DC Systems and current RF technology preferred
- Comprehensive experience working with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Strong reasoning, analytical, and organizational skills
- Staff mentoring and development / technical guidance and direction.
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with customers, team members and
peers - Knowledge of automated DC Systems and of current RF technology is helpful

Benefits:
This is a salaried position paid monthly. The anticipated annual compensation range for this role is $60000 - $65000 / year; however, qualifications and experience will be considered.
