Ace Hardware at Westwoods is part of a family of Ace stores that have been around since 2008. Our Ace Hardwares are locally owned in Colorado and operate on the core values of integrity, service, teamwork and community.

We are looking for both full time and part time positions - Ace or relevant experience is a major PLUS! We are looking for employees who have some relevant content in their background and who are able to work during the day, evening and weekends as needed.

Notice to Applicant about this Employer: You are applying for a job with an independently owned cooperative member of Ace Hardware Corporation, who operates this Ace Hardware store, not Ace Hardware Corporation. The independent store owner alone is responsible for and independently makes all decisions concerning employment related matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing and scheduling.

Major Job Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they enter the store and communicate pleasantly and tactfully with them
• Ensure that merchandise displays in the front end area are clean, organized and well stocked
• Possess strong knowledge of store layout
• Help create a positive, professional, clean and safe environment
• Help answer employee radio pages and customer calls quickly, courteously and effectively
• Have an awareness of store promotions and various advertisements, promote the Ace Rewards Program
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
• Retrieve carts from building’s exterior or call for cart pick ups as needed
• Return merchandise as needed
• Remain honest and communicative with customers, employees and management
• Have a commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction
• Ability to work in teams and communicate frequently, well
• Have an exceptional organizational ability, pay high attention to detail and have the ability to multitask
• Other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• High school or GED equivalent
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays depending on the needs of the business
• Basic math skills
• Employees must be at least 16 years of age.

Pay: $13.65 – $16.00 Starting pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered and location.)

**There is a potential for both full time OR part time hours, depending on flexibility.
