Our center is hiring a Daycare Assistant to be responsible for supporting the teacher with the hands-on care of the children. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fun, energetic environment and have a passion for working with children in early childhood settings. The Daycare Assistant will be responsible for working hands-on with children by transporting them, assisting with homework and lunch, bathing and dressing. We're looking for individuals with a positive attitude, who offer support and guidance to our center's youngest patrons.

Responsibilities:

• Be kind and courteous to children and their parents.
• Fulfill administrative duties as required.
• Respond appropriately to the children's needs and be flexible when changes in the schedule occur.
• Follow all company policies regarding health, safety, and security.
• Adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other governmental regulations.
• Listen to the children and be patient with them.
• Monitor children's behavior.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Clifton Park, NY 12065: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
