We are looking for a Database DevOps Engineer, specializing in Banking or Financial clients. A team member who is interested in and will take pride in evolving the Company’s culture of providing a great experience to our employees across our three geographic locations, and a secure, scalable, and reliable service to our clients. This role is based in our Newark, Delaware offices on Continental Drive across from the Christiana Hilton. We are conveniently located near I95 at the exit for Christiana Mall and at the North-end terminus of Route 1. The communities of Wilmington, Hockessin, Middletown, and Townsend are located very close to our offices. We are focused on team participation and commit to working a Full-Time schedule in our Newark office.

Who We Need:

A Database DevOps Engineer is responsible for working on implementation projects as well as developing the overall technical capability of the OFSLL development team.

What You’ll Do:

• Participates in project planning sessions with clients, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements.
• Develops an understanding of the client’s business and technology requirements.
• Identifies and documents key integration points with internal and external systems as well as required customizations.
• Documents technical design components related to solution integration and customizations.
• Leads application development efforts on all OFSLL initiatives.
• Acts as a liaison between the client/project team and the off-shore development team.
• Assures the quality of code developed by other developers on the team.
• Communicates effectively to all stakeholders.
• Accurately tracks time by hours and project billing codes in Company project tracking software.
• Participates in other Company initiatives and duties as required.

What You’ll Need:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a consultant and/or programmer analyst with background/experience in and understanding of banking or financial operations.
• In addition to knowledge of Oracle Solutions such as OSFLL, to perform this job successfully an individual must have a strong understanding of and experience with the following technologies:
• SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Database, and MongoDB
• Java/J2EE Framework
• Oracle ADF Framework, UI, task flows, integration with web services and APIs, security, templates, and deployments
• Experience with WebLogic 10.3 and higher
• RedHat/Oracle-based Linux Distributions
• Application of standard DevOps principles, theories, concepts, and techniques
• Experience with GitHub, GIT, Docker, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and application Deployment.
