The Data Maintenance Jr. Systems Analyst i s a n operator technical role responsible for production services support of data, database and/or server related functions .

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data maintenance and production services support of data, database and/o r server related functions comprised of data ingestion support, data ingestion software support and computer search support, including but not limited to production/operational support, technical user support, uploading, downloading, transferring, ingesting, monitoring, updating, disseminating, posting, maintaining, modifying, validating, verifying, troubleshooting, analyzing, reporting, administrating, archiving, inventorying, resolving, rescanning, re-ingesting, restoring, checking and verifying index files, verifying and testing ingestion software applications and processes, rebuilding of corrupt data files, ensuring and providing data analysis, software analysis, and design analysis to verify data accuracy, completeness, integrity, availability of data files, execute UNIX scripts, search and retrieve data, administer, create, delete and manage data files, generating and posting metrics, update and maintain logs and procedures, change/reset passwords and other routine operations support activities.

  • Perform special/on - demand and ad-hoc production services that are either directly or indirectly related to data maintenance (production services) activities (i.e. execute manual processes, respond to customer data related matter requests, and attend technical/user support meetings ).

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must be proficient with UNIX

Education:

  • High school degree or higher, and 6 years of equivalent work experience in IT related work

Clearance Requirements:

You do not need a current/active clearance to apply but must be able to pass and hold a government Public Trust (SF-85) background investigation. You must either be a US Citizenship or Green Card Holder to be eligible.
