Who you are:

As a Data Acquisition Analyst – Fraud & ID Program with Frost, you are our data master. In this role, you will provide thoughtful leadership and guidance in deriving value from the organizations' data resources. By turning data into insights, you will help us discover key business initiatives that impact lines of business and customer relationships. You will use your effective communication skills and analytical mindset to act as a liaison in projects or task forces to provide direction, expertise, and support to Data Warehouse Analysts and the Data Community. What you’ll do:

• Provide thought leadership and guidance in deriving value from the organizations' data resources through the effective integration of data warehouse technology and knowledge
• Enable the acquisition and conversion of data into insights that support key business initiatives that impact LOB and customer relationships
• Act as a liaison in projects or task forces to provide direction, expertise, and support to Data Warehouse Analysts and the Data Community
• Facilitate ingestion of external data feeds into the Data Warehouse to supplement current Data Warehouse assets such as credit bureaus, county and state agencies, or third-party vendors
• Function as a liaison between end users and vendors to determine business needs and collaborate on workable solutions
• Establish standards for requirements gathering, coding, and testing of Data Warehouse deliverables
• Provide expertise in a variety of SQL tools and techniques to improve the performance of critical applications and queries
• Provide guidance to less experienced Data Acquisition Analysts and ETL programmers
• Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics or MIS discipline
• 2+ years of experience in data analytics
• Advanced knowledge and skill in SQL tools and techniques
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Competency with data acquisition methodologies and concepts
• Competency with metadata creation and maintenance
• Competency with Advanced Analytics or data science
• Experience working in agile teams
• Experience in the banking industry
• Familiar with Fraud analysis and prevention
