As a customer service associate and dog trainer apprentice, you will serve as the first point of contact for our clients ensuring excellent customer service. Our team members are exceptionally positive, friendly, charismatic, energetic, articulate, confident and compassionate. We are looking for those with strong people skills including public speaking, critical thinking, and a proven understanding of educating. We can teach you all that you need to know about dog training!

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have prior experience and excel at customer service
• Must have some prior retail experience
• Must show attention to detail
• Must be patient and kind
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift 30+ lbs to help trainers move equipment in the gym
• Must have passion for and some relevant prior experience working with dogs of all sizes!
• Must demonstrate the ability to speak to and manage groups (theater majors, camp counselors, teachers, please apply!)
• Must be available to work weekdays - especially Monday and Wednesday as well as weekends.

About Zoom Room Dog Training:

The Zoom Room's indoor dog training gym provides a safe, indoor space for dogs and puppies to receive socialization and training alongside their owners. Using only positive training methods, we help people deepen the bonds of communication with their pups through obedience, agility, and enrichment classes. We regularly give back to local rescues through direct donations and fundraiser events that we host ourselves. It's a wonderful environment for dog lovers - both our clients and our team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
At Zoom Room we have always adhered to safety protocols--hospital grade cleaning, small class-sizes and social distancing. We have also additional hand sanitizing stations through-out the gym. We follow all current local Covid requirements.
