About the Role


Advanced Design Library Technology Team in Design Enablement/Advanced Design organization works in close collaboration with our partners in process technology and product teams to define, develop and validate logic and analog foundation IPs on Intel's leading edge process nodes to enable competitive Intel and foundry product designs.

The Custom Library Development Manager is a highly motivated and experienced individual leading the overall pathfinding, development, and pre/post-Si validation of analog and custom libraries to enable best-in-class IP and product designs. Analog and custom libraries include analog transistor templates, passive elements such as resistors, capacitors, and ESD elements such as diodes, clamps, bandgap diodes, thermal diodes, and fail safe ESD circuits.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pathfinding, design-technology co-optimization, silicon to simulation correlation and PDK delivery support of analog and custom libraries

  • Direct, coach and mentor a team of 35 people across 2 separate geographies, and establish strategies for team development, nurture and grow emerging technical leaders within the organization

  • Define and create team schedules, interact with partner organizations, and manage interdependencies across multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders

  • Distill complex information into clear, refined messages and present to executives

  • Assess risks and identify solutions to achieve program objectives


Qualifications


Qualifications

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of professional experience in analog and mixed signal design or scientific field of study related to Semiconductor materials, fabrication, and device physics

  • Proven track record in managing high performing team with consistent on-schedule and high-quality delivery

  • Familiar with foundry ecosystem, customer interaction, and benchmarking practice

  • Excellent communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work effectively within ambiguous environment through a high level of motivation and focus on results

  • Combine big-picture, holistic view with an engineering mindset and meticulous attention to details

  • Experience in EDA tool/flow/methodology, product, and IP development cycles

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $180,270.00-$288,770.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
