The following position is available:

Pinehurst Elementary – 2nd Shift

Custodian – Full Time

(NON-MMESP Position)

Deadline Date: March 14, 2023 until filled

Beginning Date: Immediately

Rate of Pay: $14.00/hour

40 hours a week

Qualifications:

• High school diploma preferred.
• Custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and perform minor maintenance on building machinery and equipment.
• Ability to maintain a professional rapport in dealing with others.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Mt. Morris Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.

Performance Responsibilities:

• Keep building and premises neat and clean at all times, including, but not limited to classrooms, corridors, bathrooms, grounds, etc.
• Clear snow, ice, and debris from walks and steps as appropriate.
• Keep grounds free from rubbish.
• Move furniture or equipment within buildings as required for various activities and as directed by immediate supervisor.
• Maintain an awareness and comply with federal, state, local, district, and building policies, rules, and regulations.
• Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
