Job description

Greater Amsterdam School District currently seeks a full-time, 12-months, 3rd shift 10am-6pm, Custodian.

This is routine and repetitive manual work calling for the efficient and economical performance of building cleaning and occasional minor maintenance tasks. Cleaning tasks are performed according to a well-established procedure and maintenance tacks are performed under direct supervision or according to specific instructions. Supervision is received from a Senior Custodian or other superior. Supervision over work of others is not a responsibility of employees in this class.

Qualification Requirements:

One year of building cleaning or maintenance experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
