SUMMARY
The Test Analyst/Writer to join a fast paced, cross-functional Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (CUAS) project team assigned to conduct acceptance and operational evaluation assessments. The Test Analyst/Writer will assist the Test Engineer in test planning for data collection activities. The Test Analyst/Writer will capture data, assess data quality, identify patterns in data and assist in distilling the conclusions into written and visual aid formats to inform decision makers. The Test Analyst/Writer will create mechanisms for exploring structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Includes the following:
- Support test engineers and analysts in test planning and data collection activities
- Support the planning of test activities by developing a historical record of test activities to include but not limited to target ground truth, target operational capabilities, meteorological data, and mission information
- Responsible for target placement, target configuration, and target operator instructions and guidance
- Summarizes and merges ground truth collected information into summary reports
- Assist with general test support to include test set-up and tear-down
- Develop and use algorithms to process raw test data
- Generate insights from distilled test results for client and senior leader consumption
- Assist in drafting test reports
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or Engineering
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience is required OR more than four (4) years of experience conducting data analytics on a daily basis.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, and Linux
- Experience with statistics and data analysis
- SAS Certification or equivalent experience desired

- Ability to complete and accept accountability for required reporting, and presentations.
- Must have an active Secret clearance which can be verified in DISS.
- Successfully pass a federal background check and a drug screen.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Travel: up to 10% to support test development.
- Physical requirements can include walking, climbing, crawling through small spaces, and standing or sitting for long periods of time.
