RESPONSIBILITIES:

¨ Contact medical office staff, licensing agencies, and insurance companies.

¨ Verify checklist for licensed practitioners in order to certify their compliance requirements

¨ Being accessible to physical facilities, and facility setup when needed.

¨ Keep manager informed of concerns or problems with credentialing processes

¨ Manage confidential information and matters of discretion and privacy in a professional manner and comply with all laws and requirements

¨ Credentials new hires, and re-credentials current employees when needed

¨ Credential facility with new insurance companies or/any update to be made current throughout all software.

¨ CAQH updates for all providers

¨ Responding to all emails within the scope of insurance enrollment

¨ Track insurance trends and updates

¨ Maintain the insurance credentialing spreadsheet to be used across management

¨ Update and maintain accurate provider files which includes documenting information such as license, Social Security Numbers, Tax ID numbers, and any other changes to the provider file.

¨ Manage multiple tasks and be able to function within established timelines with minimal supervision.

¨ Build relationships with insurance representative

¨ Other tasks and duties as assigned by Administrator

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

· Trained and understands insurance credentialing process

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· High attention to details

· Excellent follow up habits

· A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a credentialing specialist

· Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively

5 day work week; 1 day remote- 4 day physical appearance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
