Preston Taylor Community Health Centers Inc , is composed of a team of dedicated health care professionals that have at heart the mission of the organization of providing comprehensive primary health care services to the residents of the four-county service area of West Virginia in Preston, Taylor, Tucker and Grant Counties regardless of their ability to pay. This accomplished through the provision of primary care services that are culturally sensitive and relevant to the needs of the community.

In supporting the delivery of activities deriving from 6 Community Health Care Medical Centers, 2 Pharmacies as well as 2 Dental Centers, we are seeking a Credentialing Coordinator/Billing Support to join the Finance team at the administrative office located in Grafton West Virginia.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Processing initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications for medical, dental, behavioral health providers.

· Screening practitioners’ applications and supporting documentation to ascertain their eligibility

· Assisting with credentialing inquiries from third party payers

· Responding to health plan provider inquiries.

· Identifying discrepancies in information and conducting follow-ups

· Assist in the billing department with claims submission and payment posting.

· Follow up on billing tasks, inquiries and documentation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 3+ Years of credentialing experience and/or billing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical credentialing and privileging procedures and standards.
  • Strong MS Excel skills, proficient with other MS Office applications
  • Must be well organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
