Overview:

Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking an Counselor Team Leader to be part of our behavioral health team in Waynesville, NC.

A newly hired Counselor/ Behavioral Health Service Provider can receive a sign on bonus of up to $5,000.00, depending on the service agreement chosen. Service contracts are for 1, 2, or 3 years.

What You'll Do::
The Counselor Team Leader oversees and directs the self-contained clinical team which assumes responsibility for directly providing needed treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified clients with severe psychiatric illnesses. The Team Leader supervises and evaluates the multidisciplinary team to ensure service excellence and courteous, helpful, and respectful, recovery-oriented services to program clients. The Team Leader also functions as a practicing clinician on the team.
What We're Looking For::
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor Certification Required (fully or provisionally licensed or license eligible)
  • 2 years clinical social work experience (preferred)
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (preferred)
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
