CORPORATE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT-CONTRACT- SAN FRANCISCO, CA

**Must have accounting experience in the healthcare industry.**

(Will pay for travel and hotel for out of towners)

Thriving healthcare organization in the San Francisco Area is seeking a Corporate Senior Accountant for 6 week project. This position has the possibility of becoming permanent. All travel and hotel expenses paid. This is a great way to try out a new city without making the commitment.

We are seeking a Senior Accounting professional with healthcare accounting experience (specifically hospital) to oversee the day to day accounting through month end close. This is a hybrid position where you will be in the office 60% of the time. In the first two weeks, you may need to stay over the weekend while training.

Qualifications include:

• 4+ years of general accounting experience
• Financial statement preparation experience
• 3+ years of healthcare experience (hospital experience preferred)
• Experienced systems knowledge, picks up quickly to new software
• Knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, policies and procedures that is reflective of the healthcare industry
• Prepares the statements in accordance with GASB
• Team player, fast learner and ability to work effectively under pressure and within timelines
• Advanced level of data management using Microsoft Excel
• Self-starter, intuitive
• Effective oral and written skills (both in groups and one-on-on interaction)
• Solution-oriented mindset and collaborative work approach; creative problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
