Corporate Sales - Fixed Income/FX, Financial Sponsors

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The Corporate Sales team is responsible for marketing, structuring, and executing interest rate and FX risk management solutions for Corporate clients (both the bank’s Corporate Investment Banking clients and Corporate & Commercial Banking clients). Products would include FX spot, forwards, NDF’s, FX options, interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, interest rate options. Must partner with traders, bankers, capital markets, credit risk, legal, support functions, and other product areas to leverage opportunities and meet revenue targets.

  • Actively cover and develop relationships with the bank’s Corporate clients for rates/FX risk management solutions

  • Ensure that best practices are followed and implemented (Compliance, Legal, Call Reports, Derivatives Marketing, Presentations, etc.)

  • Liaise effectively with other areas of the bank (Bankers, DCM, Loans, etc.) in order to leverage business opportunities (pipeline meetings, follow-up opportunities, ensure profitable working relationship with Risk and Legal departments, etc.)

  • Identify and prioritize the FX/FI client base according to the Business Plan (systematic coverage of priority clients ensuring increased penetration in rates, EM, and G7 products)

Qualifications:

  • 9-12+ years Business Development, Product Specialist Management, or related experience

  • Direct experience with Financial Sponsors for both fund level and asset level hedging is preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge

  • Bloomberg, Reuters, Derivatives Pricing Capabilities

  • Corporate Finance and Debt Capital Markets

  • Legal documents and onboarding process related to traded products (ISDA, Dodd Frank etc.)

  • Understanding of CVA/DVA and other derivative valuation adjustments as well as ROE metrics

  • Experience with EM derivatives markets

  • Self-motivated and adept at setting, driving and leading a team to execute pipeline growth success

  • Very strong interpersonal communication skills, complemented by both excellent verbal and written communication

  • Expert presentation and public speaking skills

  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills

  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation, as well as analytical skills

  • Demonstrated complex contact negotiation/creation skills

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. For NYC Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $148,500-$265,000. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
