Success is measured by the overall performance of the team against specified metrics. This role is also responsible for direct recruiting of Corporate and field roles. This entails sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations; all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience. Responsibilities:
Under the general guidance from the Talent Acquisition Manager(TAM), the Lead Recruiter is responsible for coaching and mentoring other Recruitment Department employees and improving the production and efficiency of the recruitment support team through the candidate experience. This role supports the TAM in development of Process Guides, internal presentations and marketing materials used for Recruiting purposes. The Lead Recruiter engages in day-to-day tasks and operations and should be a first level of support for all escalations. The Lead Recruiter is responsible for maintaining accurate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), spreadsheets and career sourcing websites.

- Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and communicate issues with the tool up to the TAM for escalated guidance
- Maintain a high level of customer focus and service excellence to our internal hiring managers and external candidates
- Ensure that all data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is compliant (i.e.: EEO data, onboarding forms, etc.)
- Provide input to the TAM on Recruitment strategy and needed resources
- Establish relationships with leadership and promote the value of the recruiting service
Gain a fundamental understanding of each assigned position within the recruiting team - Operate as a liaison between management and the recruiting team, as needed
- Serve as an escalation point and subject matter expert) for the recruitment team
- Oversee daily team activity and ensure all KPI’s are achieved while providing regular updates to TAM
- Record daily/weekly team performance results and generate production data reports
- Identity and source trends for the HVAC-R industry
- Improve upon current documentation standards and ongoing quality control
- Coach performance, mentor and develop assigned recruitment support team members; including creating goals and using disciplinary action as needed, with the support of the TAM
- Manage workload distribution
- Assist in additional recruitment efforts, as needed
- Lead weekly team meetings, as needed
- Partner with TAM to complete the recruiting team performance reviews, as needed
- Determine recruitment requirements by evaluating organizational development plans and develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
- Research and recommend sources for candidate recruitment
- Meet with leadership to validate overall recruitment needs for assigned region(s)
- Provide input to the TAM in developing effective recruitment plans and strategies
- Ensure accurate, compliant, and up-to-date job postings
- Maintain effective relationships with social and professional networks to source qualified candidates
- Build and maintain relationship with Tech Schools
- Work on additional projects, as assigned
- Present to leadership, as needed
- Other duties, as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years recruitment experience
- Advanced knowledge of recruitment and onboarding processes
- Experience in candidate sourcing solutions
- Experience with applicant tracking systems
- Advanced Microsoft Office experience and computer literacy
- Knowledge of relevant social media platforms
- Up to 25% travel required
