Gray Construction is seeking an Insurance Coordinator for the Lexington, KY Office.

Who we want… (Requirements)
  • Manage insurance compliance of all Gray vendors, subcontractors and consultants in an effort to manage risks on behalf of Gray. This includes, but is not limited to, requesting and reviewing certificates of insurance and additional insured endorsement forms for compliance with Gray’s minimum insurance requirements.
  • Update and maintain accounting and payment management software systems as it relates to insurance information.
  • Communicate with project managers, site managers, design managers, insurance agents, vendors, subcontractors, and consultants on a routine basis regarding insurance compliance issues.
  • Coordinate with Compliance Coordinator, Vendor Payment Coordinator, Subcontractor Payment Coordinator, and Risk Management Specialist as it relates to insurance compliance payment holds.
  • Review submissions through Gray’s subcontractor prequalification system for insurance compliance.
  • Coordinate with Contract Coordinator to designate subcontract insurance limits.
  • As required, manage state-specific or project-specific insurance compliance.
  • As needed, provide support to Risk Management team.
  • Assist Accounting and Project Services teams in administration of other insurance or compliance-related projects.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications. The selected candidate must have strong organizational and time management skills and have excellent communication and client service skills. Basic knowledge of insurance as it relates to the construction industry is desired, but not required. Must be physically present in the Lexington office.
