We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Cook to join our talented Culinary Team!

Preston Pointe Retirement Community is a beautiful, family-owned Independent Living senior community. We provide a haven of hospitality for seniors including a host of luxurious amenities such as fine dining, scheduled transportation, housekeeping services, exciting daily activities, and more!

Qualified applicants for this great opportunity will have professional cooking experience on a large scale and will be friendly, creative, and have a passion for working with seniors.

No late nights required! Offering $15-$18 an hour, based on skills set and experience. Full-time employees also receive good insurance benefits, PTO, continued training, and opportunities for bonuses and growth!

Primary Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Maintain safety standards at all times
• Successfully work as part of a team with excellent customer service skills
• Prepares, cooks, and presents food to order following established guidelines and recipe specifications and implementing aesthetically pleasing plating techniques
• Organizes and maintains work areas, coolers, and storage areas
• Communicate product quality and any equipment issues

Qualifications

• 2-3 years professional cooking experience greatly preferred
• Culinary school certification preferred but not required
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Available to work weekends and holidays occasionally if needed (fair rotation with crew will be in place)
