We are currently searching for a dynamic individual to become the part-time Cook (20 hrs per week). The candidate is responsible for preparing and cooking meals for the patients.

All positions require pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Cooks in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served.
• Bakes bread and pastries, cut meat, serve meals, and washes dishes.
• Assists food services supervisor in menu preparation.
• Orders supplies, and maintain records and accounts.
• Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
• Assists in maintaining a safe and clean kitchen.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED.

Experience:

Prefer one-year restaurant or other related cooking experience.

Other:

Valid driver's license and insurability.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, work in a kitchen setting, and use kitchen equipment safely. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
