Job Responsibilities:

• As a Convenience Store General Manager you would assume complete, responsibility of the entire operation of the facility

• The store manager is responsible for scheduling, ordering, hiring, training, maintaining the store, modeling good customer service, controlling loss prevention, labor hours, and overtime

• As a manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail location

• As a Store Manager, we expect you to have honesty, integrity and be outgoing, friendly and dynamic

• Ultimately, we want you to manage our operations by prioritizing tasks, planning daily activities and maintaining good relationships with our customers

• Communicate daily with all employees and local customers, ensuring that each customer leaves the store satisfied

• Maintain a clean and safe workplace by following company policies and procedures (e.g. workplace safety) and conducting regular on-site inspections to prevent workplace hazards

• Ensure that the store operations are running smoothly and efficiently by overseeing staff work schedules, resolving conflict and delivering feedback

• Hire, train and oversee hourly/salaried employees to ensure they meet store standards

• Manage cash flow through controlling inventory levels and reconciling accounts

• Report on store activities to district manager to improve Marketing/sales and customer experience

•Respond to customer complaints in a diplomatic manner, escalating issues up the chain if necessary;

• As a leader, you should be able to motivate your employees and show good problem-solving skills

• Retail and management experience is a plus
