Controller – Part Time
Il Pizzaiolo, in the heart of vibrant Uptown Mt Lebanon, Pennsylvania is looking to make a key addition to its incredible team. Since opening in 1996, Il Pizzaiolo has consistently been recognized as one of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh.
Duties include:
- Production of monthly financial statement package
- Production of monthly metrics including Sales reports, Gross margin, Cost of Labor, and other key metrics
- Oversee point of sale system and tie into financial reporting
- Full charge over bookkeeping
- Full charge over payroll processing and reporting to third-party payroll provider
- Full charge over Sales Tax reporting
- Full charge over Allegheny County Drink Tax reporting.
- Report directly to owner
- Assist owner in Cost of Labor analysis and related scheduling
- Assist owner in Cost of Goods analysis and related purchasing/pricing
- Participate in management conversations with owner
Experience
- 5-10 years experience as full charge bookkeeper or controller duties
- QuickBooks accounting software proficiency
- Prior controller/management team experience a plus
Salary & Benefits
- Negotiable salary commensurate to experience
- 16-24 hours per week
