RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Nashville, TN that is seeking a Contract Accountant for a 3-4 month project on a hybrid schedule. Candidates in the Nashville area are preferred for in-office work.

Key Tasks:

• Backfilling duties including manual journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and state filings
• 7-person team, receiving direction from Manager and Senior Accountant

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience in Accounting; Insurance industry preferred but not required
• General accounting skillset; No need for CPA or certifications
• Familiarity with accounting principles and general accounting/close process experience is required
• Proficiency with Excel is a must
• Workday Financials experience and experience with data tools such as Access/Alteryx preferred
• 2 days onsite/week
• Interview: Two 30 minute Teams Interviews for interview process

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
