Your Role:

As the Content Operations Manager, you are responsible for managing the quality, reliability, and stability of linear and streaming programming across our platform. This role will work closely with third party metadata vendor, the expected content application providers, and various engineering teams to onboard new branded Sports content, Film & TV series, Channels and networks, music contents, News content and continually improve programming operations processes with internal and external partners. You will act as a liaison between all teams involved in the successful playout of content on our platform and be responsible for frequent, timely communications to keep operations running smoothly. In this role you will be able to directly impact our customer's user experience by influencing the overall presentation of programming and content onto our platform, such as: overseeing the proper display of programmer assets, including logos, asset tiles, and content metadata. Further, this position will be a key component of administrating industry standardization initiatives and objectives as applicable to our in-car internet application platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage metadata readiness and delivery timelines; work with engineer team, track and ensure delivery of all packaged and digital media assets, metadata and ancillary materials as needed
  • Manage liner channels, movies, series, and episodic metadata details for Live and other content streaming services ; Day to day content metadata verification, maintenance and update, daily content accuracy detection and maintenance
  • Documenting, troubleshooting, and escalating issues – ultimately driving to resolution through collaboration of internal or external partners
  • Assist in product operations, research content trends, and propose content planning and R&D strategies for R&D the team
  • Assist with BD, source Sports content availabilities through worldwide rights management, research on content streaming services market and innovate content service providing; Output market analysis and research reports for decision making of Internet application cooperation, and provide cooperation model support for BD.
  • Stay highly aligned and interact effectively with multiple cross-functional teams, including content and service acquisitions BD, product and UI engineering, product operations, UGC, marketing team
  • Partner with team members to analyze and evaluate workflows and recommend operational enhancements to improve efficiency

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital content operations and management in Internet company. Distribution services and/or technical and product integration within the entertainment industry (Sports, Film/TV preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Sports industry
  • Familiar with the U.S. streaming sports content market especially the Four Leagues NBA, NHL, MLB, PGA, MLS, and other major U.S. sports leagues. Sensitive to sports content services trending.
  • In-depth knowledge of film and television, games, music, and news Internet streaming content
  • Extremely proactive and embracing of an entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to proactively troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions
  • Self-motivated and responsible for managing daily workload

Annual Salary Range:

($87,000 to $109,000), plus benefits and incentive plans.
