As the Chief Solution Architect, you will work as a Director-level member of a PMO and will work across a highly matrixed team of professionals to achieve program office objectives.
This position is responsible to the Program Manager for interfacing across multiple Lines of Business, to include Cloud SaaS Operations, Cloud SaaS Solution Architecture, Cloud SaaS Solution Development, and other related functions. The Chief Solution Architect will provide IPT leadership, as well as provide recommendations to the PMO Program Manager (PM) on risk management and program-level systems engineering.
The ideal candidate should have a firm understanding of SaaS and Cloud Computing, Storage, and Operations, and should have a working knowledge of risk management activities, system acquisition, and the information technology lifecycle for cloud-based systems.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work across a diverse and matrixed team to gather information necessary to meet PMO objectives
- Identify and analyze system risks across multiple lines of business
- Identify and analyze program risk, issues, and opportunity management plans, which include stakeholder equities across multiple lines of business
- Analyze interfacing programs and projects, and provide recommendations on ways to better integrate current and future capabilities more seamlessly
- Supporting the development of program-specific products (briefings, documents) in support of PMO decision making
- Collaborate across a diverse industry and US Government team
The ideal candidate would possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Knowledge of systems engineering as applied to defense and intelligence architectures, to include Cloud computing and SaaS
- Significant expertise in software development supporting defense programs and Cloud domains
- 3+ years of experience supporting the Cloud environment
- 3+ years of experience supporting SaaS
- Strong engineering acumen with domain experience in Agile software development practices and Cloud computing architectures
- Demonstrated understanding of Systems Engineering and Acquisition processes
- Demonstrated capability and success working in team environments
- Strong oral and written communications to support interaction with government, SETA, FFRDC, external stakeholders, and development contractors at all levels on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between all organizations within a high-tempo environment
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
Required Credentials and Experience:
- Master’s degree in engineering, science, or related discipline and 10+ years of technically relevant experience; or,
- Bachelor’s Degree in in engineering, science, or related discipline and 15+ years of technically relevant experience
Desired Certifications:
- DoD 8560.1-M Certification: IAM III
Security Clearance:
- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
