POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Manager’s job function will include project management through building process. This position will be responsible for crew and equipment scheduling, crew efficiency monitoring and safety management. Responsibilities include:

Directly manage field supervisors, work crews, and other staff to ensure policies and procedures are followed, work and safety standards are maintained and schedules are met
Assist with bidding on engineered projects
Manage projects being inspected by consulting engineers and governmental agency engineers
Maintain a high regard for safety for employees and general public
Hire, oversee training and development, provide input for employee evaluations
Review and monitor employee timecards, driver logs, and work orders
Visit and inspect jobsites and crews
Coordinate purchase and delivery of materials
Oversee maintenance of equipment
Manage operating budgets

This position is full-time. It can be a fast-paced environment during our peak season and may require extended hours, travel and work occurring on weekends.

  • Position Requirements
    Associates or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
    Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    Excellent verbal and written communication
    Ability to organize, plan, schedule, prioritize, direct, and monitor crews
