We are inviting ambitious, tech-savvy individuals to join our team as a Construction Estimator Trainee. Under the mentorship of our Senior Estimator, the right candidate will be trained, nurtured, and equipped to excel in the construction industry.

Our team has an impressive portfolio, with projects ranging from professional sports arenas and NFL stadiums to industrial coatings projects such as elevated water tanks, process plants, and bridgework.

Through our comprehensive, earn-while-you-learn, four-year program, you will:

• A deep understanding of Estimating Practices and Procedures, including determining scope, takeoff, and calculating costs of labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors based on the PDCA Estimating Guide for Painting Contracts.
• Proficiency in various computer programs essential in estimating, such as eTakeoff Software and Sage 100 Contractor.
• Participation in all aspects of Construction Administration, working towards certification with the Construction Specifications Institute as a Certified Construction Document Administrator.
• Exposure to project management duties and responsibilities.
• Experience working on large commercial construction projects and specialized industrial coatings projects.

We're looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about technology and enjoys working with advanced computer applications.
• Has a solid grasp of mathematics and formulas, and possesses advanced Excel skills.
• Is eager to learn and adapt in a paperless business environment.
• Has a tenacious spirit, a strong desire for continuous learning, and the ability to problem solve.
• Possesses some knowledge and experience with construction drawings, specifications, and bidding (preferred).

• Full-time - Monday - Saturday - Day Shift

Starting Salary & Projected Earnings

Upon successful completion of the program, the annual salary will be $75,000.00 plus bonus, with incremental increases throughout the program:

Salary breakdown per 1000 hours:

1st: $41,250.00
2nd: $45,000.00
3rd: $48,750.00
4th: $52,500.00
5th: $56,250.00
6th: $60,000.00
7th: $63,750.00
8th: $67,500.00
