SERVPRO® of Barberton/Norton, is the premier fire and water cleanup and restoration company in Northeast Ohio. We have expanded our operations to include 12 franchises in the Cleveland, Akron, Mansfield and Toledo areas. Due to our recent growth, we are seeking a talented, motivated, and responsible Construction Driver. The Construction Driver performs various types of support activities for the reconstruction team, including delivery of supplies, inventory control, and general labor functions. Driving is local to northeastern Ohio.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
2. Transport, unload and deliver items in a safe and secure manner.3. Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving laws and regulations.4. Adheres to time and route schedules.
5. Provides inventory support to construction team, including maintaining basic construction materials as needed.
6. Maintains documentation, such as receipts, from purchases and/or item pick-up.
7. Organize and maintain cleanliness of construction warehouse.

Secondary Responsibilities:

1. Ensure equipment/supplies are returned from job site, cleaned, and put away.
2. Able to organize assigned tasks, for completion alone or with help.
3. Adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times.
4. Communicate with construction and project manager and other team members to maintain efficient construction processes.
5. Assists construction crew with general labor duties to support projects.
6. Other tasks/duties as assigned.

Necessary Experience and Skill Set:

· Possess a valid driver’s license.· Excellent driving skills and driving record.· Ability to drive larger vehicles (box truck)· Strong work ethic · Ability to work independently or in a team environment.· Strong oral communication skills.
Formal Education/Training:

• High school diploma/GED

Physical and Work Environment Requirements :

Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination. Regularly lifting 50 pounds independently, occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, driving, and sitting for extended periods.
