Position: Construction and Environmental Permitting Specialist

Location: Batavia, OH
Duration: 18 Months

THIS ROLE REQUIRES YOU TO BE 100% ONSITE AT BATAVIA FACTORY, WITH SOME TRAVELING TO SUPPLIERS OR CORPORATE OFFICE IN ST. LOUIS.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction and Environmental Permitting Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and obtain all necessary permits for construction projects (green field) while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction and environmental permitting processes, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, civil engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in construction and environmental permitting.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Familiar with the Ohio Regulations.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
