The Principal Data Analyst ensures data capture and integrity is properly maintained and reported. The Analyst works closely with CHP leadership, team members, and representatives from all organizations, to enhance the strategic vision of each client served by Conduit Health Partners.

Essential Functions

Use of database to store, manipulate and query data for reporting to internal / external clients.

Use strong analytic skills working with various data and reports.

Generate analysis, draw conclusions, discover insights, and make recommendations in line with scope of work.

Help facilitate SFTP file transfers with our client technical teams

Utilize data proactively to uncover opportunities for improvement (including advanced techniques such as forecasting, optimization and data mining when appropriate)

Identify data requirements and address unforeseen data complexities to mitigate impact on outcome and associated decisions.

Choose appropriate data visualization tools and adhere to corporate standards for performance metrics, data collection, data integrity, query design and reporting format; appropriate analytic methods used in analysis.

Maintain and develop innovative methods to meet client information needs using design principles for creating meaningful displays of quantitative and qualitative data to facilitate effective business decision making.

Monitor data & automated reports to assure quality & accuracy in reporting

Act as contact for internal and external clients to provide education surrounding Conduit data and document adhoc analysis requests.

Communicate customer data & intel to leadership using effective methods and storytelling.

Assist in development of database and automation scripting.

Responsible for other tasks and analysis as requested / directed

Education Qualifications

Required Minimum Education:

Associate Degree

Business or Finance

business analytics, economics, computer science, biostatistics, health care administration, business administration, public health, finance, accounting, informatics, related field

Preferred Education

Bachelors

Finance/Analytics Informatics

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Years and Type of Experience

2-4 years: Excel and Power Point proficiency, Proficient with SQL and or Database Design, data visualization technology (Tableau is preferred platform); Proficient at utilizing Python code

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Preferred: EPIC, Tableau, SAP/BI, SQL, Python

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred

Healthcare Data Domain knowledge, Statistical concepts Preferred: SQL, Statistical Analysis Programming Language(R/Python/SAS/JMP), Data Visualization (Tableau), (i.e. computer aptitude/software applications, etc.) Interpersonal skills
