Objective: PIPESTONE is looking for a part-time, on-site Community Marketing Assistant. In this role, you will be involved in community & volunteer relations, agriculture education & outreach, event planning, and marketing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in planning and organizing meetings and events (e.g., open houses, community events, swine-customer meetings, and agriculture education events).

• Create an agricultural focused curriculum.

• Design and develop educational static displays and exhibits utilized for agriculture education initiatives.

• Design graphics and materials utilized for events.

• Create and post content related to agriculture education on social media.

• Design and implement consumer focused content to be utilized in the company newsletter and print magazine.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

• Recruit and train volunteers for different events.

• Contribute to programming ideas, event logistics, and communication.

• Represent the company at agriculture outreach events, community events.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

Experience:

• Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in coordinating or hosting events.

Education:

• Agriculture industry knowledge.

• Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
