Role:


Responsible for developing new and expanding existing business relationships within the communities we serve to reach prospective members, employers, and community organizations. Initiate activities to promote business solutions and partners through True Loan, SEG membership and other specialized products and services offered. Discover opportunities to offer Financial Well-Being education through employers, schools and community organizations.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Develop new and expand existing business relationships utilizing the True Loan Merchant Platform. Meet the expected goals to grow membership and retail loans utilizing the True Loan platform and other
business related products and services.

Identify opportunities to better serve prospective and current members and businesses through Community Partnerships. Meet with and present wholistic approach to improve the financial well-being of all people within the markets we serve. Meet the expected goals of generating new Select Employee Group (SEG) Partners.

Present seminars focused on financial literacy and the well-being of others as it relates to topics relevant to our industry. Seek out opportunities to develop on-going relationships with partners within our communities that could benefit from financial education.

Maintain excellent knowledge of products and services offered by the credit union and its competitors. Monitors financial industry trends and analyzes key data to develop recommendations for management to enhance or develop new products or services.

Works inter-departmentally to promote department goals and initiatives. Involved with workforce training and development by offering internal opportunities to educate our credit union employees on specialized initiatives to better serve all people within our communities.

Performance Measurements:


1.


Increase membership and loan growth to meet budgeted annual goals as determined by senior management. Meet expected goals to enroll new participants in True Loan Platform and SEG Partners.

Work effectively with others in the Credit Union to support the Multicultural Business Strategy goals and initiatives.


3.


Submit reports to track activity, sales, and referrals in the prescribed method and in an efficient and timely manner


4.


Develop a pipeline of leads to effectively generate the desired results to meet established goals.


5.


Identify community opportunities to partner with and offer products and services needed to help all people within our markets.


6.


Conduct financial education seminars for members and prospective members to help promote overall financial well-being.


7.


To stay current and comply with all federal and state regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Controls ("OFAC") and all credit union policies and procedures.


Knowledge and Skills:


Experience


Three years to five years of similar or related experience.


Education


(1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).


Interpersonal Skills


Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.


Other Skills


Must have good communication skills, including written, verbal, and public speaking. Must have sales skills and be self-motivated and able to work independently. Must be professional in dress and appearance. Proficient with use of personal computer.
