The Community Association Manager is a portfolio management position; they will work closely with the Board of Directors for each assigned Association to implement decisions made by the Board of Directors and assist the Board in the management of the property.
Characteristics & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university or comparable experience in industry
- Experience in Homeowners Association Management or Property Management required
- CCAM or CMCA Certification preferred, but not required
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (writing sample may be required)
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literate
Responsibilities include:
- Providing Board of Directors with information and guidance to run their Associations efficiently and according to requirements set forth by their governing documents and Civil Code; this includes Annual Budget formation and distribution to the membership
- Providing our clients with excellent Customer Service through effective communication between homeowners, Board of Directors and vendors
- Attending nightly board meetings on a monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly basis as scheduled by assigned Associations
- Taking meeting minutes; tracking and completing pending to-do items
- Conducting monthly site visits for each assigned Association
- Maintaining the association’s filing system (electronic and hard copy), both management and unit files
- Creating any notices/memos requested by the Board for distribution to the membership
Position is a full-time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package. Pay is commensurate with experience.
