The Senior Communications Manager will report to Fujitsu Americas’ Head of Marketing and work in close collaboration with colleagues across Canada, the US, Caribbean and South America as well as globally to support an integrated internal communications program aligned to the company’s strategic ambitions. Key responsibilities
- Partner with key stakeholders across the Americas and globally as you lead the implementation of internal communications campaigns, processes and tools in the Americas to better support the company's strategic imperatives and enhance the employee experience.
- Lead the planning, development and coordination of communications across internal communications channels to ensure ease of access, impact and consistency of internal messaging and alignment with company brand standards.
- Work with and support the Americas’ Executive Leadership Team to plan and develop executive communications including announcements, presentations, talking points, videos and speeches.
- Plan, develop content, and manage the Americas’ virtual meeting events.
- Manage the team responsible for internal communications – including channel and process management, content creation and translations.
- As a member of the Americas marketing team, provide strategic and implementation support for social media, select external events and other duties as requested.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience and proven success developing and implementing employee communications programs
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, English or one of the liberal arts.
- Exceptional writing abilities, listening and oral communication skills required
- Ability to think strategically and creatively and work flexibly in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized, and fantastic at just getting things done
- Self-starter and adept at networking, building relationships, being resourceful, and navigating ambiguous situations to maximize productivity
- Experience with deploying, managing and optimizing digital communication tools
- Strong presentation and design skills including proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Graphic design training, a plus
- People management experience is preferred
Travel: Light travel required.
