We are hiring a part time Communications Assistant who is proficient in Mailchimp (or similar email marketing platforms) and savvy with technology. This is a fully remote position, and you can live in anywhere in the US.

Position Summary: The Communications Assistant provides tactical support for the companys Marketing, Education and Public Relations teams executing against Alliant Nationals Communication Strategic Plan.

- Collaborates with Marketing, Education, and other members of the Communications Team to provide tactical, administrative support in the execution of the teams fundamental and strategic objectives.
- Collaborates with company employees outside of Communications to fully understand their communication needs.
- Supports regional marketing and education campaigns and events.
- When called upon, provides excellent customer service to Alliant National agents and, in the context of education, their real estate agent customers.
- Maintains and updates Marketing, Education and Communications systems.
- Updates and maintains marketing and education contact lists.
- Gathers and maintains marketing and education data.
- As directed, assists in preparing and deploying Communication campaigns, which primarily include email and may include other multimedia.
- Performs other related administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Reasoning Ability:
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with Adobe PDF editing tools
- Proficient in Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms
- Basic computer-based graphic art experience helpful but not required
