Reporting to the Head of Site Culture and Engagement, the Communications and Employee Engagement Manager will play a pivotal role in engaging Cell Therapy site employees, strengthening our site culture and cohesion, and enhancing our Cell Therapy Organization brand through creative internal site communications strategies.

In this role, you will manage day-to-day communication and culture projects to drive employee engagement and foster a high-performance culture for Cell Therapy site employees. This person will lead a Culture Ambassador employee network, and partner cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders to find and tell inspiring stories that build connection and increase awareness of our purpose, values, internal initiatives, and other exciting milestones.

To be successful in this role, the Employee Engagement & Communications (Sr)Manager must be:

  • Passionate for employee engagement and workplace culture
  • A creative thinker with proven communications skills and ability to deliver on multiple campaigns.
  • A self-starter and strong collaborator who partners across levels and functions and is experienced at leveraging data and insights to support engagement strategies through effective communications.
  • Able to translate business priorities and change initiatives into easy-to-understand messages for leaders to deliver.
  • Adept at executing creative content campaigns including mining and writing stories that inspire audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day to day communication to all site stakeholders.
  • Plan and develop content for culture programs that foster greater community and inclusion at all levels.
  • Support the execution of employee engagement events, ranging from social functions to all-hands communications meetings.
  • Create high-quality, multi-channel content including but not limited to internal emails, newsletters, employee interviews and spotlight articles, readout materials and presentations, collaborations posts, and more.
  • Create leadership messages and materials to inform internal audiences about project launches, transformational initiatives, organizational changes, career development opportunities, and well-being in the workplace.
  • Proactively find and tell inspiring stories across site communications channels that highlight the Cell Therapy Organization site purpose, mission, vision, values, and impact.
  • Support site culture objectives by identifying, shaping, and helping to amplify workforce and employee stories.
  • Manage and optimize site communication tools and vehicles to consistently improve the employee experience.
  • Manage the cascade of information between leaders, employees and other interconnected cross-functional teams as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of experience in communication or change management
  • Track record of successful communication strategies with employees and internal stakeholders
  • Experienced with supporting employee engagement through creative multi-channel, multi-format content strategies including town hall meetings, videos, and storytelling campaigns
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; proactive and able to multi-task projects with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with storytelling elements needed to resonate across a range of communications channels
  • Experience with tight-deadlines and fast paced environment.
  • Experience communicating around policy issues.
