The Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager position offers day to day support to the agency’s Sales Advisors and the Commercial Lines team through service of commercial accounts. This individual will address all aspects of client needs. The Senior Account Manager will support the Account Manager in any capacity as needed. For some clients, the Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager will be their primary contact within our agency, and they rely on prompt, accurate assistance and guidance.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to our clients by promptly responding to client phone calls, faxes, and emails in a timely and professional manner

• Review contract insurance requirements and provide recommendations

• Provide assistance and guidance to clients in the claims process in support of the Account Manager

• Review of completed surety bonds as needed

• Research coverage questions

• Recognizing and processing complex coverages that are outside normal operations of the client

• Provide coverage guidance and advice to the Sales Advisors

• Facilitate coverage extensions and combination of clients through mergers and acquisitions

• Understand and be knowledgeable about the carriers we represent and the products they have to offer

• Account Rounding

• Quoting new business

• Remarketing accounts

• Handling renewal process from obtaining updates from the client, obtaining quotes, preparing the proposal, binding coverage and generating agency-billed invoices

• Creating certificate of insurance masters

• Perform additional functions at the direction of agency management as needed

Skills Required

• Must be detail oriented and proficient at multi-tasking

• Must be able to problem solve and work independently as well as within a team

• Must possess superior customer service, organization, and time management skills

• Experience in Commercial Insurance

• Must be licensed per state requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
