Job Description:
At Regions, the Commercial Credit Services Client Retention Group Team Manager works within the Credit Products Organization to analyze commercial credit requests, recommend underwriting structures, and make credit decisions. The associate will manage a team of underwriters, assisting with structuring recommendations and credit decisions. The Commercial Banking Credit Services Client Retention Group Team Managers will drive team performance, ensuring that client expectations are met or exceeded and team goals are achieved.

Primary Responsibilities
Develops/coaches/manages daily workflow of Commercial Credit Services Client Retention Group Underwriters
Ensures new loans and renewals are underwritten to prudent risk standards and are in compliance with the commercial loan policy and the credit risk management policy
Serves as a coaching resource around client selectivity, loan structuring, underwriting, servicing and risk rating
Works proactively and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders including underwriting team, credit officers and relationship managers
Ensures credit monitoring and servicing is timely and accurate
Develops/sustains relationships with Commercial Banking leadership
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Minimum of seven (7) years of commercial loan underwriting, analysis or portfolio management experience.

Skills and Competencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to identify and voice issues and offer proactive solutions
Ability to offer concise analysis of relationships, identifying key risks
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Organized, detailed, can multi-task and manage or lead multiple projects and deadlines

Preferences
Three (3) years of prior management, leadership or coaching experience preferred
