Gateway Auto is currently hiring for the position of Automotive Technician in Omaha/La Vista, Nebraska.

What we're looking for:
We are looking for a full-time person who is able to manage their time between writing estimates and managing inventory as a Collision Damage Blueprinter (Estimator) and Parts Hybrid. The hybrid collision estimator performs damage analysis and uses computerized estimating system(s) to develop repair plans, cost of repairs and parts ordering, receiving and distribution including ARs related to parts.
This person will be a key member of our team who is responsible for ensuring that vehicles get fixed to the highest of industry standards so that our customers can drive off care-free and our shop is well organized so our team has no blockers keeping them from cranking through work.

Required Qualifications
The following are suggested education and training requirements for this position:
- Certificate or degree in automotive collision repair
- I-CAR trainings up to date
- Experience managing CCC One
- Knowledgeable of vehicle construction materials and required repair procedures
- Skilled in closing sales, comfortable reaching a target of 70 percent or higher
- Skilled in communicating with customers, vendors, suppliers, and insurers
- Skilled in using computerized estimating systems
- Skilled or familiar with basic computer data-entry, Google software and other internet-based applications
- 3-5 years of estimating and administrative management
Preferred Qualifications
- I-CAR Professional Development Program Level 1 or higher
- ASE certification B6 – Damage Analysis & Estimating
- 5+ years of estimating and administrative management
- Experience managing CCC One Management software, Repair Workflow and/or Update Plus
- Experience managing parts inventory and vendor relationships
- Familiar with life on the production side but prefers to be retail and admin oriented
