We have an immediate need for a Collector to join our rapidly growing team located in Beverly, MA. This position is onsite Monday - Friday with rotating Saturday coverage. Schedule hours are typically 9am-6pm / one 11am - 7pm rotating shift during week / Saturday is 9am - 6pm

Key Responsibilities

• Establish contact with consumers to discuss delinquencies, and ability/willingness to pay and identify the appropriate repayment programs/options available to them
• Record accurate and detailed notes; update account status and customer information into the database
• Ensure accuracy of customer accounts
• Navigate through multiple computer applications to update account notes
• Foster a rapport with customers
• Assist with various functions as needed

Education and Experience

• Minimum two-year college degree preferred. Relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• 1-5 years Collections experience
• Strong negotiation skills
• Effective decision making skills
• Strong listening, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• The ability to interact with a variety of personalities and scenarios
• Excellent work ethic and attendance.
• Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
