Part-Time Coder needed!
STAT Home Health in Shreveport, LA is currently hiring a Part-Time Coder!
Essential Duties include:
- Follow all coding guidelines published through AHIMA
- Assures daily operations of the coding function and monitors corresponding documentation for quality purposes.
Requirements:
- Coding Certification (CCA, CCS, CPC, COC, or CIC) required
- RHIA/RHIT preferred
- Home Health coding experience preferred
- Understanding of Medicare/DRG
- HCHB experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organization skills required
