Job Description:

Produce and assemble machined products by setting up and operating conventional lathe, mill, drill press, and CNC mill maintaining quality and safety standards.

Willing to learn how to operate various power equipment/tools including but not limited to chop saw, table saw, and pneumatic stapler.

Use hand tools, hammer, wrenches, pipe wrenches, etc.

Package and prepare products for shipping, including building crates and pallets.

Clean and maintain equipment and tools, and general shop keeping.

Heavy lifting required.

Able to work safely in a time critical environment.

General production tasks.

Skills/qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Strong mechanical aptitude required.
• Basic math skills and geometry required.
• Ability to read and interpret cut/spec sheets.
• Ability to use measuring instruments including but not limited to calipers, height gage, scales, tape measure and micrometers.
• Ability to quickly change tasks.
• Understand and follow through on both verbal and written instructions.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Technical/Trade School training strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
