CNC Machine Operator
Job description
Machinists/Machine Operators must have the minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent &/or 1-2 years experience in the CNC machining industry. The candidate must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibility and authority for quality of own work.
Perform work in accordance with Customer Instructions, Job folders - B/P’s, Travelers, inspection sheets, etc. Make sure correct counts are documented.
Inspect per job folder
Obtain and return all required tools / tooling from designated areas. Setup job according to job folder Maintain machinery, troubleshoot and basic repairs.
Care and use of calibrated measuring instruments and their timely return for required calibration including employee owned equipment.
Assure that all paperwork is properly signed for accountability.
Use care in the handling of product. Observe all safety requirements in shop area.
Maintain good housekeeping practices at all times.
Control nonconformance to prevent unintended shipment.
Knowledge of ISO Policies and Procedures Perform other duties as necessary.
