Exactec is a full-service plastic fabrication and screen printing company, that consistently provides national retail customers and Point-of-Purchase design firms with exceptional displays, signage, and store fixtures. From concept review, to prototyping, manufacturing, and fulfillment, Exactec is your complete service provider.

The CNC Laser Operator will be responsible for fabricating both finished parts and parts that complete finished goods through the use of both CNC Laser equipment and hand machining equipment. Interpreting drawings and setting up machinery to specification to complete parts per spec required.

Responsibilities include:

· Read and understand layouts, job packets and blueprints for machined plastic components.

· Review prints and programs with fellow employees.

· Possess a strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Work with minimal supervision.

· Use geometry, shop mathematics and calculator proficiently as well as common measurements tools.

· Set up work to be performed in an efficient manner.

· Inspect work performed to meet tolerances per Exactec Quality Policy.

· Maintain a clean work area.

· Communicate last of work to Production Supervisor to maintain efficiencies.

Requirements:

· Good interpersonal communication and written skills

· Attention to detail and pride in your work

· Work cooperatively with fellow employees

· Additional responsibilities may be assigned by Production Supervisor

Job Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Manufacturing experience preferred

· Experience running CNC laser preferred but Exactec will train

· Ability to maintain required tolerances

· Able to stand for long periods of time

· Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. or move heavier objects with proper equipment

· Mastercam experience a plus
